This year, we’ve been assigned spot number 117. Yesterday, we planned out what our table can look like by mocking it up in our living room!

The table will have an elastic white smock about it.
Those 2 open crates will have fronted bags of dog biscuits.
What’s not shown: serving platter overflowing with catnip mice! Crates filled with biscuits.

7:05 a.m. ✅ coffee. Thank you, Tobey, for setting up the automatic brewer this morning.

Two thirds finished. Caffeine. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫🌞🌞🌞

9:40 a.m. we’re getting ready for you. Be have hot beverages. We’ve unzipped the catnip mice from their ziplock baggies & restocked the shelves!

Cold 🥶 fingers.
Overnight storage…
…a fresh selection of flower-packed catnip mice.

7:15 p.m. And the market’s done. This venue impressed us and was well organized. The squads of enthusiastic grade 8 students who helped set up AND help vendors take kit apart were a welcomed sight. The Terms Of Service were reasonable. Any drama on the sales floor was discreetly handled. The market closed at 5 p.m. and tear-down, while frantic, was civilized. We’ve already submitted our paperwork for 2027.

Heavy rain overnight and the risk of continuous foul weather for the rest of the day. We cannot risk the safety of our products (humidity can shorten our product’s shelf-life… and potential lightening strikes and waterspouts can ruin our tent, no?). September 2, 2026 = no go.

We plan on being at the Owen Sound Farmers Market, September 5, 2026. Count on seeing us at the Tobermory harbour September 9/26.
